She's a Lady....

Well... Our Little Lady is about 2 1/2 years old right now...
Seems like that has been a pivotal time with our boys... and wow... we are sure seeing a new little girl around this house!
We didnt really have the "terrible 2's"... I am NOT however looking forward to the "Terrific Three's"! The Little Lady has been talking for a while now... but wow... her speech is really taking off now... as in... she is almost to the point of talking too much! *laughs* She is also developing this attitude.... she has the art of the temper tantrum down! She also has the word "NO!" worked to perfection... the word comes along with a flip of the head and a hand on the hip! It is leading me to believe that the teen years are going to drive me to drink!

She has also been showing signs of becoming a fashionista of sorts. Me... I'm a jeans and tee-shirt kind of girl... I've bought makeup twice in 10 years.... one of those times was for my wedding... Her... she has to have "this" shirt... "These" pants... "these" shoes.... I have 3 pairs of shoes that I wear... sandals, cowboy boots, and tennis shoes.... she has me way outdone on shoes... of course I have bought them for her.... but she picks out what she wants... and when she wants them.
Her brothers are egging her on by calling her princess all the time.... my response: "The only royalty in this family is ME! I'm the Queen!" no one buys it of course....but maybe if I repeat it enough they will get the point!
So... our Little Lady is growing up! Scaring me already... but guess that is what parenthood is all about!

One example of the Little Lady's taste in clothes.... Grandma wanted to buy her a shirt... Little Lady insisted on Tinkerbell... and it had to go on NOW! Of course... it was also on for the next 3 days... we had to hide it from her just so we could wash the darn thing! Funny thing... she is sound asleep in her Tinkerbell nightgown...for the 3rd night in a row also!

Cant wait to see how she will change in the upcoming months!
